| Bob Boilen of NPR's All Songs Considered hears "the sounds of Ornette Coleman and the band Television. And sometimes in the same song." What's your take? This is our first studio album with Thomas on sax. Like Soundhorn, we complimented the band with a range of extra sounds: vibraphone, accordion, trombone, banjo, percussion, flute, slide whistle, and the intonarumori. Visit our store to purchase a CD. You can also purchase downloads via iTunes, Bandcamp, or Amazon. | ![]() |

Live Recordings"Tjamls;" and "Doom Equity" appeared originally on Soundhorn. The first was broadcast live in January 2009 at 89.3 WNUR Chicago with our friend Steve Miller on sax. The second was captured at Hole in the Wall in December 2008 with guests Tommy Holton on drums and Jerome Smith on trombone. Jerome also played on the original studio version. Fresh off our summer 2008 tour, we landed in 90.5 KUT Austin and performed "Salisbury Steakhouse" long before it would appear on Acronyms. You can download all these tracks for free. |
